DESCRIPTION:Join us for a virtual gathering with a fascinating guest speaker.  \nIn “Jane Austen and Warren Hastings\,” Jocelyn Harris\, reveals remarkably close connections between the largely unknown writer and the immensely powerful Governor-General of Bengal\, who probably fathered her cousin\, Eliza de Feuillide. \nOur guest speaker is professor emerita of English at the University of Otago\, New Zealand.
