DESCRIPTION:JASNA Member Lunch\, 11:00am-12:00pm    \nExcellent boiled potatoes may or may not be on the menu.  \nThere will be a special lunch for JASNA members on Saturday\, May 2\, 2026 at the Maryland Jane Austen Fest. The lunch is free to any attendee whose membership in good standing. Lunch will take place at Oldfield’s cafeteria and will be immediately followed by the Opening Ceremony at the David Niven Theatre at Noon. DESCRIPTION:Montpelier Historic Site & Museum.  Copyright: M-NCPPC\, Department of Parks and Recreation\, Prince George’s County.                                \n  \nSaturday\, May 9\, 2026\, our annual Box Hill Picnic will be held at the Montpelier Historic Site & Museum.  We will be meeting for a picnic\, a plant exchange\, and a historic house tour.  The house and grounds will be a beautiful backdrop for regency portraits or casual selfies. Please bring your own picnic and enjoy games\, exhibits\, and outdoor fun. Light refreshments will be served. All JASNA MEMBERS ARE FREE. This event is rain or shine. Regency attire encouraged by not required. All members who have already paid see the treasurer on the day of or email treasurer@jasnamd.org for a full refund. \nRegistration for this free event is required so that we can give the venue an accurate head count. \n\nBring your lunch. Light refreshments will be served.\nBring a plant or cutting to exchange if you would like to participate.\nSelf-guided tours of Montpelier Mansion and other exhibits.
