Nancy Magnuson and Barbara Simons created a quilt banner for the 1993 AGM at Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada, that long served as JASNA MD’s logo.
The banner served as a backdrop and decoration for the Lake Louise AGM.
The quilt banner is adorned with two Regency period women sitting at a table, surrounded by the official Maryland state flower, the Black-Eyed Susan. This banner seemed a perfect fit to identify ourselves as Maryland Janeites among our fellow JASNA members.
The quilt is enjoying retirement in residence at Goucher College.
