‘A Certain Step Toward Falling in Love’: Dance in the Works of Jane Austen

Susan de Guardiola is a dance historian, teacher, and caller from Connecticut.  She will entertain us with a discussion of how Austen uses dance and dancing in her novels. 

Following the presentation there will be a brief overview of mourning in the Regency and a toast in memory of Jane.
